A large, corrugated metal barn with a red door and wooden steps. A woman with long dark hair, white shirt, and jeans is taking a photo of a woman sitting on the steps, wearing a white hat, black and white polka dot shirt, and blue jeans. An electric pole is visible on the right with wires extending from it. There are green trees and grass, and cloudy sky in the background.

I am a West TN Photographer, a dedicated sports mom, and a lover of all things family

My life is a beautiful, busy blur of cheering on my kids at their games, wrangling our pets, and soaking up the little moments that happen in between.

Living room with a pastel green sofa, white throw pillows, and a white blanket. A wooden side table with potted plants sits beside the sofa. A bookshelf filled with books is on the left, and a gallery of nine family photographs in wooden frames hangs on the white wall above the sofa. An open book and magazines are on the wooden floor, which has a herringbone pattern. A white curtain and a beige pendant lamp are visible on the right.

A Different Kind of Photographer

Hi, I’m Jessy!

I know firsthand how fast time moves. One minute you’re navigating the newborn phase, and the next you’re running between practices and school events. That’s exactly why I love what I do. My goal as your photographer is to freeze those moments for you … the messy, noisy, loving, chaotic reality of family life … so you have something to hold onto long after the kids are grown.

There is an 11x14 portrait in my home of my family from 1994. My dad is smiling, truly happy, and every time I look at it, I am transported back to that feeling. I’m older now than he was in that picture, and that realization changed everything for me.

I realized that a photograph is a timestamp … a piece of history that grows in value every single year. I don't want to just give you a link to a gallery that might get lost in your inbox. I want to give you what I feel when I hold that 1994 portrait. I want to provide artwork that your children will grow up to cherish, touch, and eventually pass down.

I am a full-service, print-based photographer. This means I do things a little differently than the 'shoot and burn' industry standard. From our styling consultation to the final installation of your wall art, I am by your side. I’m not just here to take pictures; I’m here to help you preserve your legacy.

My goal is simple: to make sure that thirty years from now, you have your own '1994 portrait' to hold onto.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It is a signature full-service experience. Unlike a standard "shoot and burn" session, I handle everything from wardrobe styling to the creation of your physical wall art and albums. It’s a complete process designed to leave you with tangible history, not just digital files.

  • Yes! Every image you purchase as a print, album, or wall art piece comes with its corresponding high-resolution digital file for your personal safekeeping.

  • Sessions can take place in studio, at your home, or at a beautiful outdoor location in Jackson or the surrounding areas. During our Consultation Call, we’ll pick the spot that fits your family's vibe.

  • Don't stress! Part of "The Archive" experience includes my styling guide and a personal consultation. We’ll coordinate colors and textures that look timeless on your walls.

  • To ensure an artisanal level of service, I only accept a limited number of commissions per month. For Seniors and Quinceañeras, I recommend booking 3–4 months in advance.

  • That’s actually where the magic happens! The Archive is about real life, not perfection. I’m a pro at chasing toddlers and capturing the chaos beautifully.
